My first entry.

I've never made much of an effort at blogging, but since coming back to Hong Kong, I've realized how much easier it makes it to stay in touch with people. So, I'll be using this as a way to keep up with friends, do some journaling and continue to persuade people to come to HK to visit!

Since being back in HK, I've been looking for work, albeit not that strenuously. My first Sunday at church, I had a couple of job offers, which was very affirming. After taking a month off from working, I'm ready to start having a routine and something to occupy my time with. I enjoyed the time off...basically, I slept in, drank coffee, took my nephew to the park, etc. I've literally felt my stress levels lower over the past few weeks and I've spent a lot of time thinking about time management.

So, I officially have a job and will be starting August 11. It's actually quite perfect for me. I'll be working at International Christian School (my alma mater) as an events coordinator for a conference that they're hosting in November. It is a full time job, but is project based, so it will finish the end of November. After that, there may be another opening, another job, or another adventure.

I'll keep posting things on here, but if I go for a while without doing that, remind me on Facebook!
